Mahasamdhi camp site is centrally located in Dearborn, MI and easy to access from any major highway. It is 13 miles from Detroit Wayne County Metropolitan Airport (DTW).

Check In/ Out

When booking airline tickets, please note that check in time is 2:00 PM on July 29th and check out time is Noon on August 3rd. Hotel web site is Adoba Dearborn, MI. A special group rate will be available 3 days pre and post the event dates based on availability. Please let us know if you would like to stay for extra time.

Airport Transportation/ Shuttle

We recommend taking a taxi from DTW to the Adoba Hotel. You can tell the taxi driver that you are going to the former Hyatt Regency Dearborn. If you are an individual coming alone, you can let us know your flight details and we will try to help you share transportation with other individual camp delegates arriving at a similar time.

From Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (Approximately 13 miles):

Head northeast on William G. Rogell Drive toward East Service Road, then stay straight to go onto Merriman Road. Merge onto I-94 East toward Detroit. Take the M-39 exit, number 204, toward Southfield Freeway; merge onto M-39/Southfield Freeway NORTH via exit on the left. Take the US-12 exit, number 6, toward Michigan Ave. Merge onto Michigan Ave/US-12 WEST, and then veer slightly right onto Evergreen Road, then right again onto Valley View Drive. Make a right onto Town Center Drive and approach our Metro Detroit Michigan hotel.

From West:

Take I-94 East to Southfield FWY/M-39 NORTH. Proceed north to Michigan Avenue West. Stay on Michigan Avenue Westbound, and then turn right at Evergreen Rd, then right into Fairlane Town Center and right again at stop sign. Our West Detroit MI hotel is across from Sears on right.

From South:

Take I-75 North to exit 41, Southfield Road exit. Turn left at the light, then follow Southfield FWY North to Michigan Ave. West. Take Michigan Ave. West to the first street, Evergreen, and turn right. Turn right into the Fairlane Town Center, and again at stop sign. The Adoba Hotel Dearborn/Detroit is located across from Sears, in the southeast corner of the mall.

From North:

Take I-75 South to I-696 West to Southfield Road/FWY South/M3-9. Exit at Michigan Ave West. Turn right at Evergreen Rd, then right into Fairlane Town Center and again at stop sign. Hotel is across from Sears on right.

From Northwest:

Take I-96 East to Southfield FWY/M-39 South to Michigan Avenue West. Turn right at Evergreen Rd, then right into Fairlane Town Center and again at stop sign. Hotel is across from Sears on right.

From the East:

Take I-94 west to exit 210-A, Michigan Ave. West. Proceed approximately 5 miles to Evergreen Road and turn right. Stay to the right, then turn right into the Fairlane Town Center.Turn right at the stop sign. The Adoba Hotel Dearborn/Detroit is located across from Sears, in the southeast corner of the mall.

FYI

Dearborn, MI is only a 4 hour drive to Niagara Falls, and also only a 4 hour drive to the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Pittsburgh. If you would like to plan to stay a few extra days to visit some of these wonderful places, please let us know.
